Children’s Christmas Party 2025

Our Annual Children’s Christmas Party was an exceptional and joy-filled celebration this year, welcoming 191 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of our members for a magical day they will long remember. From the moment families walked through the doors, the hall was filled with excitement and the bright smiles of children ready to enjoy a couple hours of holiday fun. The success of this event was made possible by the dedication and teamwork of our many volunteers, each contributing their time and talents to make the day special.
The face-painting area—always one of the busiest spots—was brought to life by the creativity of Patricia Bennett, Selena VanLuven, Sajid Pena, Bella Pena, and Jan Wyllie. At the entrance, families were warmly greeted and checked in by Linda Tallmadge and Kathy Burns, ensuring a smooth start for everyone. The ornament table, beautifully arranged and enjoyed by children of all ages, was hosted by Lori Jones. Our luncheon team of Becky Monzo, Tina Cutcher, Jen Knox, and Victoria Brosky prepared and served up some tasty tidbits that kept the children happy.
The gift table, monitored by Mary Ready, Regina Dye, Jean Knight, and Jodi Yeitter, made sure every child received a special surprise to take home. Candy bags were handed out with cheerful enthusiasm by Alyssa Yeitter, while our dependable all-around helper, Heather Szyska, stepped in wherever an extra hand was needed. And, of course, the highlight for many young guests was the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus—wonderfully portrayed again this year by Frank and Barb Johnson—who helped create unforgettable Christmas memories for every family. Thank you everyone.

Trunk or Treat 2025

The sun was shining brightly but it still was a little cool for Trunk or Treat this year but we had a wonderful group of volunteers show up, dress up and hand out treats to the 179 kids that showed up. Thanks again this year to the Port Huron Township Fire Department for bringing their firetruck and passing out goodies as well. Rider President Jeff Cutcher was there with haunting witches and bike-riding skeleton. Worthy President Brandon Szyska cooked hot dogs.

Blue Water Eagle Riders 2025 Games Day

No other word can describe the day at Games Day 2025 for the Blue Water Eagle Riders but F-U-N!!! All the games they were able to accomplish on their huge bikes with riders. Just simply amazing how they can be maneuvered. President Jeff Cutcher was kept very busy keeping everything happening and the next rider in line for whatever cute event lined up next on the agenda. I am always amazed and get such great joy by just watching! Make sure that you put this event on your calendar for next year…the third Saturday in September, you’ll never miss another one!

Eagles Family Picnic in August 2025

August Family Picnic was great time!

It has been a couple years, but the annual Eagles Members Family Picnic was back this year with a lot of fun things for the kids, plus bike giveaways. It was a hot day, but still a ton of fun for all that attended sharing a “dish to pass” along with our very own Worthy President Brandon Szyska on the hot grill preparing the meats for lunch. Lots of old-fashioned games for the kids with prizes was number one with the kids, food being a close second. Very fun day….plan on attending with your family next year sometime in August!

Eagle Riders Emily Knox Run 2025

I tried to count all the bikes as they rolled out for the run—got to 140 before I lost track! Could’ve been more, could’ve been a smidge less, but wow… there were a lot! Plus, we had not one, but two whole busloads of amazing folks showing their support for the 7th Annual Al Greenia Memorial for the Emily Knox Law Enforcement Dedication Scholarship Fund Run on Saturday, July 19th.

The weather? Absolutely perfect! Sunshine, smiles, and so much to do both before the engines roared and after everyone cruised back for tasty bites and toe-tappin’ fun with Big Papa and the Machine.

Oh—and congrats to Victoria Brosky, who rode away with the 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King in the raffle!

Huge hugs and high-fives to all the rock star staff, big-hearted volunteers, awesome organizers, and every single supporter who helped raise $15,000.00+ for this truly special scholarship fund. You all made the day unforgettable!

They got to get an ornament to write their name on, a box of crayons to color their placemat where they sat, a nice gift, their faces, arms and hands painted, a stocking with candy, a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus plus a great lunch all thanks to the year-long efforts of the Ladies Auxiliary and the the fantastic members that supported everything the Auxiliary did to raise money for the event. Thank you to all the volunteers of the week prior for shopping, wrapping, getting everything to the American Legion in Marysville for the party and loading up the leftovers afterwards to take back to the club. You all are F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!
